Den's night

Believe it or not, this is the first time that I have been to Den on campus. There are several reasons.1 When I was in ESL program, most of my classmates liked having fun in real pubs where the atmosphere is better. 2My passport has been missing for almost 2 months...

Anyway, not an exciting night but fine. Some of my classmates , Eric, Slava, and my fiends from lecture 2, Lisa and Sharen all came and had fun. Eric even invited three of his friends , Tommy Sam and Chen. Chen's English name sounds like "guaduate" which made all of us confused and laugh a lot.

I am just wondering that why do boys like PSP so much eh? Even before the order came, the four boys quickly took out thier PSP and had a game...What is so interesting man? Maybe that is the difference between boys and girls.

When it comes to the wings and drinks, I think they are pretty nice. Although not as good as those that I had at the Kilkenny, considering about the price, they were good.
We wre planning to have a party next week, maybe on Thursday, I do hope it could be successful and everybody have fun . haha Let us see what Scott and Murray will be like when they are drunk!!!!!!

Tequila's Night

Thanks to Murray's advice, Lisa and I didn't go to the club early as what we usually do in China. You know that Chinese people are seriouse somehow, and do not like to be late even for the parties. However, Murray told us that nobody wants to be the first one to party here. Well, sounds kind of wierd because people may come later than later. which means, maybe the starting time should be at 10:00p.m. but most people will appear at around midnight...haha

The day before yesterday , I saw somebody selling tickets for a "graffiti party" at MAChall. I have a lot of friends who are designers, MC, producers, rappers and dancers. yepp.gansta style buddies. Some of them are really good at graffiti. Since I have never seen people working on that, I bought two tickets(one for Lisa) and decided to go and check it out.

When we arrived there, OMG, though we were half an hour late, there were still so few people...Those who are from international relations club were wearing the same white shirt and drawing on each other's shirt, just names or signatures...you call that graffiti???!!! damn....

Lisa and I had no choice but ignore them and have fun by ourselves. We drank a little, and get into the dancing pool. To be frank, I really really really hate the music there. Ain't my style at all. We danced until 1:30a.m. when I suddenly found somebody we both know, felicio in lecture2. haha I had no idea he 's a party boy before, because he is always smiling, and quiet. WOOO, you will never know a boy only at school eh? As it was quiet late, Lisa and I deceded to leave. Just as we pick up our clothes I saw a familar face. A boy from U of C who comes to the starbuck where I work quite often. We said hi and chat for a little while.hum..speaking journal :)

Anyway, it was a nice night though not perfect.
I feel like I'm addicted to dancing more~~~~~~yo

two worlds same happiness

It was one of the traditional Chinese festival on Sunday. Most call Feb 2nd (Chinese calender) is the day when dragons lift up their heads. So on that day, the custom is that most people have their hair cut in order to have a productive new year. Usually the hair salons will be full of people who are waiting to cut their hair.

At home people eat home-made dumplings. Last year when I was still in my university in China,I  gathered all of my classmates and organized that at residence. All of my classmates are from other cities while I was studying at the university in my hometown. Since I thought they might miss home a lot at that time of year, I didn't go home but stayed with them. Some of us went to go shopping in order to get the materials we need and others talked with a restaurant to ask whether we could cook the dumplings their. We had a good time making dumplings by ourselves.

This year I am far away from those guys. They still hold the dumpling party and sent their miss to me when I called.

No matter where I am you guys are always my family. Best luck for all of u this semester

dance workshop

I went to the workshop this afternoon on campus.Juat around 30 people or so.The instructor is Kareline, a nice girl.In order to relax I talked to several girls and got to know them along with the courses.I've never studied dancing professionally before, nd evything seemed pretty new and interesting to me.After 2 hours , I was all wet and tired. It seems that I need more exercise.

2weeks ago I left a message on the forum of the hip-hop and funk style club. Those guys were very nice, they added me on facebook, encourage me to take part in activities.Especially Gabe, a very nice Bboy who's from HongKong, he sent me e-mails and let me make up my mind finally to make a move rather than just watching..to be frank I have been watching that forum for a long time.I went to meet those guys and learned breakin for the first time in my life.

When I woke up this morning I saw Gabe left me message on my wall and called him. And 1 hour later, I was there, meeting new friends and enjoy poppin.

My roommate said it is really a boring place. Actually, that was what I really thought for the first 2 or 3 months. Now I have made friends at work, during activities and even on facebook. I work 9hours a week just in order to have fun. I hold activities like skating and swimming to gather friends and drive them out of getting bored. Now I' can't wait to go to the next workshop.

It won't help if I just sit there missing my old dudes. Make new friends and have new fun. yoho. life is more than perfect! Isn't it?
